  • TrainMore is an Urban gym situated in the city centers of the Netherlands with over 33 gyms throughout the country. Their USP is a €1 discount every time you train. A brand inspired by music and art as well as it’s urban surroundings.

TrainMore

My work at TrainMore consisted of a lot of campaign work creating ads for all platforms and mediums. In between I directed shoots for campaigns and helped with social designs and concepts, event marketing and anything else design orientated. We even set up our own festival.

Most of the campaign work was created for instagram and facebook targeting new members with free trials and deals each month for joining the gym. Other ads focused on retention, trying to keep the current members we had to sign up for another year or two.

Each campaign included not just social ads but also newsletters which we would send out on the day of launch in order to be consistent across all platforms. We tried to make these as personal as possible doing a lot of A/B testing in order to find out what our members liked to hear about and what they didn’t as well as what visuals, copy engaged them the most.

A gym that celebrates dance, art, and culture. It’s not just a gym, it’s a way of life.

Each September TrainMore organizes a new brand shoot to create footage and imagery for their website, OOH ads, window stickers, and internal content throughout their gyms. These faces are displayed across the Netherlands throughout all the biggest cities to market the hottest gym in town. In art directing these shoots, it is a great challenge, to think of a million different shots within two days to create content, for instance, a ‘bring a friend’ campaign to a new club opening. Furthermore, we had some models who had never modeled before and so making them comfortable while also trying to find their best side was not an easy task. TrainMore festival

TrainMore sees itself as, ‘MORE THAN A GYM’, it’s a space where a community is built and music above all is enjoyed. As Covide sub-sided in 2022 TrainMore saw an opportunity to give back and celebrate with all their members with their very own festival alled Locker Room Festival.

The event was born from parties that were thrown pre-covid in the locker rooms of the biggest gyms of TrainMore. Here members could socialize with each other, dance, drink and enjoy the community that TrainMore has built since 2005. Now it was to become bigger and better than ever.

The festival was one night of dancing to techno and house music, the favorite genres of dutch locals. The venue was a playground for TrainMore sponsors to gather together and celebrate with all the members to remember that music is the ket to bringing all together.

We created all types of merch for the festival for our members to buy and wear, including stickers which we out all around the city in the upcoming weeks to the event in order to
create buzz.

Throughout the festival, we made sure there was sufficient branding to promote TrainMore with familiar taglines of the brand such as “music makes you stronger” to showcase the personality of TrainMore as well as be informative with the signage.
