  • Brockwood provides a platform for some of the UK’s most exciting up and coming artists, as well as some of the more recognisable names in the UK dance music festival circuit.

    @brockwoodfestival

Brockwood is the new festival on the scene in Hampshire. A festival that celebrates new and current artists to raise money for mental health, set up by 5 best friends and entrepreneurs. I was brought in to pitch ideas to the team on how to create a consistent brand identity across their digital marketing and how we could expand on their current strategy to bring in new festival goers to raise their ticket sales.

In the animation above you can view how I used neutral colors to reflect the natural landscape in which the festival lies which compliments the vast amount of imagery that dominates the visual space of the website. I wanted the typography to take a major role in the design to engage users and draw on the personality of the brand through copy. With CTAs throughout to encourage users to buy tickets for the event.

The identity was transferred to newsletters where I mapped out a calendar of events to create hype for the festival, engage current festival goers, and try to entice new ones by asking their audience to recommend friends to the festival for a discounted ticket rate. A clock plugin was ideated to create urgency and inspire sales.

Social planning was taken into account to match the same timing as the newsletters. The countdown clock aspect reflected in the feed to excite those who had already bought tickets or urge those who hadn’t to buy them.
